I joined Toastmasters to improve my presentation skills, to have increased command over delivery when public speaking. My aim was to present with confidence so that the audience is comfortable listening to me speak. The opportunity to take on various leadership roles in a club environment to support more confident leadership in work and elsewhere, was also a reason to join.
